Synopsis:	Alpha Flight is having trouble with public relations again (Knapp
mysteriously ill; Heather distancing herself from the press).
	Kyle goes to Montreal to get Nemesis's help in finding his past. He is
attacked by the Children of the Night and tracked by Kane, who works for a secret
Dept. K. Kyle restrains his animal impulses, and is wounded and chained near
Nemesis. They are both captives of Rok, whom Wild Child had once scarred, and who
has taken leadership of the Children from Nemesis and uses them as his own army
of assassins. He takes up Nemesis's sword and is about to kill Kyle when Kane
intervenes. Together they down Rok, but they Wyre shows up.
	Witchfire, feeling responsible for Knapp's wounds (see iss. 114), starts a
mystical journey to save his life.

Synopsis:	Wyre explains that he had helped make Kyle Wild Child, as well as
other "killers without conscience." He has since reformed and decided to hunt
down and all his "children." Kyle stalls for time.
	Judd has uncovered evidence that Walter was involved in Wild Child's early
years. He and Heather force him to reveal that: someone had tampered with Kyle's
brain stem, making the animal come out.
	Mulroney and staff discuss Alpha Flight and Weapon Omega's future, in light of
the current media problems and Robert Hagon's Super Powers bill in Parliament.
	Alpha Flight finds a downed Rok, and Northstar speeds ahead to find Kane about
to shoot both Wyre and Kyle. Nemesis helps him break Kane off. Alpha Flight is
busy battling the Children, who, since they have spent their whole lives
underground, are easily stunned by Jeanne-Marie's light.
	Kyle fights Wyre and argues that he is not just an animal, although his human
DNA had been altered to try to make him one. He convinces Wyre to let go of his
anger, and forgives him. Nemesis convinces Kane to just leave them alone.

Synopsis:	Louis remembers being suddenly attacked by Hardliners in a bar in
Halifax. By reflex, he used his mutant power, previously kept secret, to beat
them off. But the people in the bar were more afraid of him than of them, and his
life was never the same.
	Heather wants more info on Kyle from Clarke; he warns her about Hagon's bill
in parliament that would register all super-powers with the government.
	Wyre explains to Kyle that he let the Secret Empire use his DNA to create
monsters. Kyle wants his help finding out his original identity.
	Thunderball is on a rampage in Toronto, and Heather dispatches part of the
team, including Nemesis, to bring him down. A Hardliner explains that they had
tried to attack him, which just ticked him off.
	Clarke tells Heather and Kyle how he had been found in the remains of the
Secret Empire base that Wyre wrecked. The military used drugs to tame his animal
impulses but keep his enhanced abilities, called him Wild Child, and forced
Walter to accept him into Dept. H. Kyle announces his new name.
	Aurora uses her light to hypnotize Thunderball. Then the rest of the Wrecking
Crew shows up.

Story:	The Clamp Down Part 2 (24 pages)

Synopsis:	The Wrecking Crew attacks Walter, and Judd realizes he doesn't have
enough team members to stop them.
	Inside his cocoon, Knapp's mind explores his Mindwell, which contains all his
possible pasts and futures, and which will collapse unless he can be fixed
himself.
	Thunderball awakens and recalls how he took control of the team (and their
Asgardian power) from Wrecker.
	Hagon admonishes Lord, whose Hardliners have muffed both Louis and Thunderball
(last iss.). Lord wants to be the contractor who enforces Lord's Super-Powers
bill.
	Alpha Flight downs the Wrecker, and Thunderball realizes they've been set up,
so he ports them away.
	Headliners invade Mansion Alpha while most of the team is on a mission. But
unknown to them, Wyre is there, and he attacks.
	Louis, on the run, decides to run to Alpha Flight.

Synopsis:	Judd berates his own team for fighting the Wrecking crew and causing
damage to Toronto (last iss.).
	Wyre attacks Hardliners who invaded Mansion Alpha (last iss.), and one shoots
Knapp's cocoon. Inside, Knapp's other selves sacrifice their own energies to save
his life, and the cocoon lights up. Knapp comes out, alive, healthy, and alone.
	Louis, chased by other Hardliners, seeks refuge with Alpha Flight. Hardliners
attack; Alpha Flight smash.
	Heather makes it clear: if Hagon's bill is law, Alpha Flight will have to
enforce it, or else the Hardliners will. All but Nemesis determine to remain in
the team.

Synopsis:	A scientist named Hedison uncovers Silver and Auric, dead in
Rutherford, NJ. At the funeral, Heather is unable to mourn them, Parker shows up
as a journalist, and Kyle tears open the coffins, revealing dummies: the bodies
are gone.
	Heather goes to the X-Men for help; they find out Hedison said they were alive
and gave him "the power." He was later kidnapped by the Chess Set. Spider-man
comes to help, and Nemesis plots with Kyle to get blood vengeance. Judd and
Spider-man go to bars for information and track the Chess Set to a supposedly
abandoned air strip, where the Brass Bishop is auctioning off the bodies of
Silver, Auric, and Hedison. It seems they contain energy released by the Sphinx
when he imploded.
	Heather, Spider-man, Nemesis, Judd, and Kyle attack. Nemesis impetuously
damages the nexus, which releases a new being, sprung from the three corpses.
Heather convinces him not to go on a killing spree, and he ports away. Kyle
prevents Nemesis from killing the Bishop, and Heather is able to cry for their
fallen comrades.

	Witchfire's voices talk to her. She attacks Wyre and Goblyn before Kara and
Wyre stop her. Heather catches them and yells at them all about this unofficial
training session.
	Jeanne-Marie, Heather, and Walter each feel a need to get back in touch with
their personal lives.
	The Goddess in the form of Nelvanna (last seen iss. 45) calls Walter,
Windshear, Judd, Elizabeth, and Michael to her Infinity Crusade.
	Heather dines with Lil, whose marriage to Jeffries is failing. She is
interrupted by an emergency call from the Avengers.
	Witchfire, newly demonic, attacks Laura, Goblyn, Wyre and Kara and threatens
to kill all the Goddess's followers.

guy. But then the other Outcasts arrive.

	Witchfire has shed her human form and gone demonic, killing most of Beta

	Aurora is off to fight against the Goddess. Elizabeth and Walter are in
Paradise Omega, created by her. But Witchfire is there, too, using their doubts
to make the Goddess vulnerable.
	Heather, Jean-Paul, and Kyle fight demons in Mansion Alpha but are beaten off
by sheer numbers. Then Witchfire attacks.
	But unknown to her, Wyre still lives.

Story 2:	Brothers in Arms! Part 2 (7 pages)

	Witchfire is preparing a sacrifice for her father, who she wants to take over
the world once the Goddess is defeated. Knapp's powers have changed; he now
becomes Apeman and attacks Witchfire, with Heather. Then as Highbrow he ports
away with her.
	Wyre attacks Witchfire, but Heather orders him to desist. Knapp talks to her,
convincing her to renounce the devil and embrace humanity. But then Walter,
Elizabeth, Judd, and Windshear arrive to execute Witchfire for attacking the
Goddess. Heather stops them, and they port away.
	Witchfire no longer remembers her father, but he remembers her.

Story 2:	Wind of Change (5 pages)

Synopsis:	Windshear, Hercules, and Archangel do the Goddess's holy work, but
Windshear is sickened by the bloodshed and remembers how his grandfather made him
swear never to raise a fist in hatred. Flashback to the first time he used his
power, in a street fight, when he killed a thug. The horror of the association
breaks the Goddess's control of him.

Synopsis:	Lil is furious at her husband for not being able to give up the Box
armor. Their spat is interrupted by a mystical summons from Michael.
	He says they, Wyre, and Nemesis must fight Carcass, a disciple of Khaos, who
has defiled Indian burial grounds to start the Unmaking, which could destroy all
reality. But Michael is really deceiving them all.
	He transports them all to Carcass's dimension, where they are attacked by
skeletons, dead noble warriors. They are winning, until Kathryn shows up and
Michael freezes. By the way, they are all already dead: Michael killed them all
to enter the land of the dead.

Story 1:	Dead Reckoning: Part 2 (16 pages)

Synopsis:	Michael, Lil, Jeffries, Nemesis, and Wyre are dead, but their bodies
are being preserved. The only way out of this realm is through Carcass. He
attacks each in turn, defeating them, and his Unmaking spreads, threatening to
engulf all reality in primal chaos. Kathryn is one of his undead servants.
	But Michael has sneaked close to Carcass, with his pouch hidden within him,
and he attacks. The rest realize this realm's reality is shaped by force of will,
and they rise and attack. Michael finds faith in himself, blasts Kathryn away,
and traps Carcass in a crystal of pure order, which explodes him when he touches
it. All returns to normal.

Story 2:	Trial and Error (6 pages)

out the Hardliners.

Michael pretends to serve the Goddess while seeking a spell to release her
converted. But he must use it on Elizabeth, and he hesitates to ruin her faith.
He sends his soul to investigate his teammates' faith, and finds each has a
pocket of the stuff so deep the Goddess can't touch it. He releases his spell;
everything goes black for a moment, then all the heroes are free of the Goddess's
control.

Story 2:	Blind Fury (6 pages)

	Kyle refuses to accept Wolverine's image of him and refuses to fight.
Wolverine realizes Moondragon had planted the image of Storm's corpse in his
mind, and nearly apologizes.

Synopsis:	NOTE: this is part 1 of No Future.
	Lord has a nightmare of a world in chaos. He wakes to New Canada, a perfect
society full of sunlight and super-beings whom he created from base humanity.
	Northstar is part of the resistance. Heather tells him Canada is lost, and
they leave tonight to warn the rest of the world.
	Hagon's law (see iss. 118) empowered Lord and his Hardliners to take control
of Canada. He kept a select group of parahumans, and killed or altered the
humans.
	The team must get around Lord's psych web, which will otherwise wipe their
memories. They are attacked by Hardliners; all are killed but Heather. But then
she is felled, by an invisible Mac.
	Heather wakes; it was all a dream. But the rest of the team shared it, and
Hagon's bill really exists.
	Hardliners have kidnapped Louis and want to fight. Heather wants to free Louis
and discredit the Hardliners.

	Tork has Louis in their training facility and makes Alpha Flight run the
course.
	The Dreamqueen is pitting Alpha Flight against Lord. She doesn't want Lord's
"perfect" world, either.
	Judd sneaks into the Hardliner's facility and knocks Tork out. The rest of the
team fells the Hardliners and finds Louis.
	Then Omega Flight shows up. Lord reveals himself as the Master, and he has Mac
beside him.

Synopsis:	NOTE: this is part 3 of No Future.
	The Master has resurrected Mac, expanded his consciousness, and convinced him
to go evil. Omega Flight attacks, and Alpha Flight start to lose, most of them
having lost the will to live.
	The Dreamqueen, not wanting the Master to order the world, wakes Judd.
	Heather, her head crushed by Mac, decides to lead her team to victory, and
Alpha Flight overcomes Omega Flight.
	The Master acts, killing his own team, then attacking Alpha Flight. Heather
reasons with Mac while trying to figure a way to kill him, Judd turns the
Hardliners' facility's guns on the Master, and Beta Flight arrives.
	Mac turns against the Master and blasts him. The Master, feeling betrayed,
loses the will to live and lets Mac and Heather destroy him.
	Clarke announces the team is suspended.
	NOTE: This is the end of the series.
